Do your homework! Transportation issues have been known to completely make or break my progress in life. One thing I do is take advantage of reward programs (i.e., at grocery stores) for cents off on gas. There are a few apps that help as well. Also, I've found that planning ahead helps. In our area, public transportation is free on certain days. Also, some of the public transportation options (commuter bus) options are free. The other day, just because it was during rush hour, we were able to take the commuter bus for free, instead of the bus we normally take. It let us off closer to our destination, too, so that was an added bonus.

I utilize the free medical rides I receive through my health insurance for any appointments I have to go to! Also having an electric bike is an investment but as long as the weather is okay I can get to where I need to go pretty quickly! I can go up to about 27mph so it’s not bad!
