I am curious if SaverLife would acknowledge the $5 weekly points after 5 $1 deposits as opposed to $5 deposited at once. I would hope that it would work.

Especially since $5 weekly would typically be $20-25 per month as opposed to the $28-31 saved by $1 a day.

:) The only other concern would be whether your bank limits the numbers of transfers to the savings account. (Varies by institution)

You can also save pennies, quarters, dimes and nickels. Everytime u find money save it.

Spoke with SaverLife today, and it sounds like they may consider this for another available challenge. Saving $100 in a month is a bit of a jump from $5 per week ($20 to $100 is a 5-fold jump), but $1 a day is a lot more attainable.

Because they check the savings account balance each Monday and compare the current Monday balance to the previous Monday balance to determine if the $5 change has occurred for the distribution of points.

I would love to see that too. In the mean, time, I need to try to deposit $5 on the week that I don't get pay. This can help me with my emergencies.

I have a 🐖 bank for pennies, change and quarters. I need to deposit that money. I'm sure that I have more than $5. Let's try to save as much as we can at week.

This is an awesome idea! Agree with comment previously of starting somewhere, so if change is what you can start with, then let it be change…if you can manage to start with higher bill amounts, then start there. Be consistent and don’t give up.

I wish it was less then 100… I mean for what I’m reading a lot of people are struggling and I need that 100 for my 3 kids. Now I could do 20-30 a month

It would be cool if there could be different goals based on someone’s income. So like someone who makes $30k can save $100/month potentially but someone making $20k can save $40/month or whatever.

Save what you can and go from there. Little by little it can add up.
