What’s a good weekly budget?

A budget should be based on your personal situation. What do you have for income streams? What are the weekly expenses you absolutely have to pay? How much do you want to set aside for savings? Are you balancing your needs with your wants? Consider your weekly income and allocate that to your needs, savings, and wants. Will your weekly savings rate allow you to reach your goals?

What are some good resources to help you budget?

@Michelle P., before you can plan a budget, it helps to have a good understanding of your monthly income and expenses. You could start be tracking all your income and expenses for a month or two and using that information as the basis for your budget. Establish some key earning and spending categories and use those to create a budget. After a few months using the budget, see if you need to make any adjustments. Repeat.

All my bills I have due for the month I put on my calendar on my phone so I know how much money I need to make.
