Say hello and share a little bit about where you are on your savings journey and what motivates you to save.

Alison E.

Hi I'm Alison I am a mother of 4 that is trying to get back on her feet.

Hi. I'm Angela. I'm a PTSD Warrior, on disability, and looking for ways to save money. It's hard to save money when the rent and food nowadays is so high. The waiting list for Section 8 is so long where I live. I'm 58, widowed with no kids so I'd be on the bottom of the list anyway. It's by Gods grace and mercy that I've made it this far. I enjoy SaverLife's money saving tips and try to use them when I go shopping. Thanks SaverLife

Diana Y.

Hi,
My name is Diana, I'm enaged, and I'm also a mother to 5 wonderful and super awesome kids!! We've been saving money to hopefully buy our 1st home sometime this year if not then hopefully next year. I've learned so much within these last few years on having better credit, on savings, and buying a home.

I signed up with SaverLife few years ago when our agency promoted it and encouraged us all to save and they matched saving in SaverLife was a plus. It was good at first and I would get my savings and points but then my account started delinking my bank and even though I would participate and save the money, emails to SaverLife staff never got help or resolved why it delinks. Continued to happen this Jan-Feb-March even when I took tax pledge and saved my whole refund in my savings account for 6mos. No credit or $150 payment for that or $5 for March savings match. Checked why and my bank account was delinked again today. I am so frustrated with SaverLife because they won't credit me the payments I earned so I am probably going to look for another type of savings program because they don't want to investigate why my bank account gets delinked and don't want to pay me the $ I've earned doing the service. Frustrating

Hello,
I am Angélica. I am learning to budget better, grow my money, and repay my student loans.

Hi my name is Dewey I'm 41 with 8 kids, I like information and learning hands on. I'm struggling getting my business off more than my head, funding sources for restock or basic inventory, I'm open to ideas and discussions. Hope everyone is safe health and blessed. Be safe and luck to all.

I'm Natasha a mother of two beautiful children. I'm just trying to get back straight like I once was before COVID hit.

Sherman M.

My name is Sherman, and I have sky high student loan debt. I am a teacher with some degrees, but my salary will never cover what I owe. I know all about public service loan forgiveness, but I have a long way to go. I do understand to take one bite at a time.

Hello everyone! I'm still on this lovely journey of becoming debt free and paying off debt. I'm mom to three daughters and trying my best to keep us afloat.

Hello Everyone,

I am a CPA who has been promoting this website and app. I am also working on publishing a book on financial literacy. If you know any publishers, or think SaverLife would be interested in partnering , let me know! I may reach out to them once I’ve refined my first draft.

Best,
Mike

Hi, I'm just trying to get into some better financial habits. I do the complete opposite of save money. I need to be saved BY money probably because at this point I absolutely can't save it!! So, please save me money!!!

Kristen O.

Hello.
I am in my late twenties. No children, but I have two family members I help support through shared expenses. I have several main saving goals including:

  • reimbursing a family member for their help with community college;
  • retirement (I've automated)
  • Big future expense increase due to lessening of shared expenses, and foreseeable healthcare

And some smaller-by-comparison mid-term goals:

  • family vacation (at least one train ride, and maybe a dark-sky park)
  • Convention with friends
  • Hobby expenses

It is not about how much you make, but rather about how much you save <3 continue the great work peers!

S

Sherman M.

I am 39 no children. I care for my mother and 19 year old sister. I continue to save to always have options.

J

Jon W.

I'm 37yo and just graduated from medical school with almost $300k in student loan debt. I know that in a few years my income will provide more than enough for my living expenses (right now, I'm just about breakeven in income vs expenses) - but I also know that the habits I create now as a (relatively) broke resident will set the tone for my financial future. I'm a decade older than most of my peers at this stage in my career and financial journey, which means I also have a decade less of high-income earning potential on the backend. That being said, I'm confident in my future and appreciate the concept of SaverLife. Just heard about it through the Dollar For newsletter.
