I think alot of can relate to knowing of or have personally experienced depression during COVID-19. As there are always new advice and new resources to teenagers, and adults I hardly ever see anything regarding toddlers and depression. I don't think many are aware that toddler and infants can also suffer from depression. What are some thoughts and ideas you may have pertaining to toddlers and depression. Ideas of ways to help them cope?

You are so right, we don't think about these youngsters. My 3:and 5 year old grandkids have been coupled up inside the house since this pandemic began. They are always asking me when can they go outside. I know they are tired of being inside and I can tell they seem to be somewhat depressed. Lately they have been able to go outside and they are so much happier now.

Outside but away from other people is actually the safest place.

I think it is a good for everyone to try and get the vaccines for COVID-19 as soon as possible. I want us to get back to normal. I like to be able for people to get outside.

I have been depressed more. My body hurts more even just waking up in the morning.

Madeline, general pain is a symptom of depression. If you're not getting much sun, try standing outside in the sun for 5 minutes. Exercise helps a lot of people, but that's hard when you feel bad. You can move slowly. Drink lots and lots of water. The chemicals that feed depression are carried in water so, when they're diluted, you feel better. Complex carbs are good, too.– not sugar, but grains, etc. I once self-medicated with a box of Cheerios that I ate out of the box. Small handful of oats, big slug of water. After a couple of hours, I did feel better.
