Yes even though they are government-backed loan they are still handle through the private bank so you would apply at the bank for an FHA loan

Yes, I am in the middle of one now. AFCU made us save way more than Carolina Farm Credit.

The credit score requirement for an FHA loan went up! It’s now a 640, which put a huge dent in my plans. But I’m still working on my credit and saving. Maybe next year…

The credit score requirement for an FHA loan went up! It’s now a 640, which put a huge dent in my plans. But I’m still working on my credit and saving. Maybe next year…
Try NACA, credit score doesn't matter with them. No money down, no closing cost, no mortgage insurance, and you can buy down your interest rate. NACA believes if you can pay rent you can pay a mortgage.
