I can always manage to stay a savings account. But what ways are you keeping the money there, without touching it. 🆘 Help.

I personally have my savings deposit at a different bank than my checking. I know some people use online saving accounts where it takes a few days to transfer back to their primary account. I have also heard of people have saving accounts at physical bank location where you have to go there to withdraw funds.

I also save in an account that's not in the same bank as my checking.

In my bank accounts there are 3 different savings account. One I have only for SaversLife another for 10% of income etc. That way it's easy not to dip onto SaversLife account.

Does anyone save at least 10 percent of their paycheck? I was told about this and to pay myself first?

I try to forget about the money being there. I deposit a certain amount out of every paycheck but I'm not thinking about me having that money. Thankfully I haven't had an emergency situation moment either since I've started the savings account so that helps
