I do surveys on Inbox Dollars and Survey Savvy to earn extra money. I also scan my receipts on Fetch and Coin Out for cash. The money adds up over time so I think its worth it.

I use several of the apps already listed. I also love Shopkick. You earn points just by scanning certain products at different stores. It's super easy, and you don't have to spend anything. They also offer rebates (in points) on the products you scan, so it's great if it's something you're already going to buy and even better if you can find rebates for the same products on Ibotta or Fetch and get the item for free. If I have the time, I can usually earn $5 from scanning in a single trip to Walmart or Target. You can scan a couple items and build up your points slowly or scan a lot if you have the time. They had even more points and rebates last Xmas, so I'm hoping they do that again this year. They also have a few 15-30 second videos you can watch for points each day. I think you can cash out with as little as $2 for some gift cards. There are a lot to choose from, including PayPal and Amazon. I usually go for $5 Amazon or $10 PayPal GCs.
