To make extra money I'm investing with 2 sites…….Stash and Acorns. I also do surveys for cash and gift cards on the sites……. Survey Savvy, One Opinion, and Inbox Dollars. Plus I do receipts for cash on Coin Out. All the extra money I make from these sites I put into my savings. Every little bit helps to make my savings grow. I use the gift cards to spend on myself which keeps me from spending money from checking or credit cards.

Another way that I save is with "auto save", which many savings accounts support. You can set it up to automatically transfer a little bit of money weekly or bi-weekly (or whenever you get paid) into a [typically] higher interest savings account. I currently like using Ally.com, which currently has a 0.5% interest savings, which is more than my local bank, which is 0.1%. When I opened it though, it was at 1% interest, about a year ago, wish it would go back up to that.
