Hi all,

I just joined SaverLife and hope this keeps me motivated to save money even while I’m paying down student loans and credit card debt. I linked my Ally savings account and just made my first deposit. Earlier this year I paid off medical debt that started in 2016. That was such a win and now this week ( as of Friday) I will have paid off 3 credit cards. I’ve created a debt snowball spreadsheet using Google sheets and if I can maintain the plan, paying smallest to larger, I will have all credit cards paid by January 2025. As I get extra unexpected money if possible I will put it on a debt and hopefully bring that end date up🙂

Having an emergency fund really helped me this month. I had two large car repairs and if it wasn't for the emergency fund I would have had to put it on a card. I'll keep saving so something like a car repair on a card is something of the past.
