7 Tips on Saving Money

  1. Track your spending
  2. Cancel Subscriptions
  3. Shop with coupons, clearance & discounts
  4. Pay in exact change
  5. Cook at home
  6. Sell used items you don’t use
  7. No matter what save $50 per pay period

Speaking of subscriptions you probably CAN live without cable TV. Much of the programming can be had free or cheaper using Roku, Fire Stick, ect. Hulu just had a $1.99/ month promo rate for a year. Apparently it's offered every year around Black Friday. Meanwhile Netflix is increasing their rates.

I recently looked into a streaming package with my cableco. There's a fine print charge of up to $9 for taxes and rebroadcast fees! No thanks, I have an antenna. But local TV has FREE streaming of their news programs which is all local TV is good for to me.

Its easier for me to save 💰 if I leave it on cards instead of carrying cash.

I feel good this week I was able to save 100! I don’t know how I’m going to have to look and see what bill I possibly missed lol! But I still feel god about it 😊

Ive just started cooking more instead of buying lunch or dinner..currently doing A 21 day financial fast to try and reset my spending habits…only get to spend money on bills and needs…really have to think first before using your credit or debit card

Para honrar dinero si paga un alquiler de apartamento y no puedes pagarlo es mejor de reunirse con la familia o un buen amigo y ponerse de acuerdo en pagar renta y gastos

How'd you save your first $100?? Personally, I saved $10 per paycheck and whatever change I had leftover after budgeting and it took me 3 months

I save money by not using money off my baby ssi card unless if needed

Every 2 weeks my husband and I put back money as well as save all our change for our vacation/emergency fund. Been doing pretty well at keeping up with it.

Figuring out where you can save is the first priority. You don't have to pinpoint every expense, but you need to start with what you make, subtract each monthly fixed expense, and then see what you are left over. After doing that you have your variable expenses and it's pretty easy to see things you can eliminate, we were able to do that month 1.
