well that's what i hear and hopefully this will keep me above water. cause even thou im saving good i still feel guilty and want to your that money to pay all my debt off but i feel that if i do than i have to start all over.

They should pay more to lower level income families asthat is where the greatest need is, plus that money gets spent qui kest and cir ulates i the economy.

I'm hoping they do the social security increase. I prefer the one that increases according to the poverty guidelines. That would give us a bigger boost that the extra $200 a month, but both would be a blessing! If they did the first one, a two income family on social security would have $32,000 a year coming in! That's a far cry from what we get now! It would be more like normal families being able to afford food and utilities and having money left over to save. Plus, we could actually have some what I call "funny money". We can just have fun with it. Buy what makes us happy like our crafts and hobbies, etc. It's hard to imagine living like normal people again. We've never been in a vacation since our honeymoon. That would be nice to save for, and we're 50 years old.

Hopefully for those of us that are still working legislatures and private employers were increase salaries based on a percentage and cost of living. I just received a notification today that my gas company is going before my states energy commission today asking for a rate increase that will be effective in September, just in time for the fall and winder.
