How long do I habe to atay on article page to get points?

How long does it take for points to post? I have been reading articles and posting on forums, but have not seen a change in the number of badges or points.
The points never show up. Or very rarely.

After reading the article you need to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page then click on my dashboard and a blue line should appear saying you earned 15cents for reading the article of the day.
It's very frustrating sometimes when my points don't show up and my savings deposits aren't included.
It is different everyday what works to get your points and somedays does not work at all
I read the artical; if it is a repeat, I wait the same amount of time before moving to another artical; my points usually post then
