I am also having the same issue, it has been this way since they started the leaderboard feature last year. However, it is really annoying now since it is tied to Scratch and Save.

Again I read article of the day but didn't get the points I've reported this problem a lot and still nothing is done to fix this !

I've had that issue a lot until about 5mo ago and than it started to work. Today it started not to work. I use to do it at night before bed and it works then. I'll try tonight and see what happens.
