Hello there my name is Mitchell. I was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about bitcoin? I have a decent amount that I could use right now to invest other places but I seem to have lost it during a transition on the blockchain and I really don't understand how it works. If there is anyone that could help i would kindly reward you and be forever appreciative because i haven't had any income in a month and a half except odd jobs and scrap yard checks after I lost my job…. thanks in advance please reply on here for my contact information and if this isn't permitted I do apologize but i would like to invest some and save thr rest here.

I setup an account through Coinbase. They gave me $5 in Bitcoin for signing up. Through the app you can earn cryptocurrency for taking online classes about various types of cryptocurrency.

Coinbase is a good platform for both new and experienced BTC investors. They offer a lot of other cryptocurrency options as well. Ethereum is a popular alternative coin and has tracked track bitcoin up and down fairly closely.

There is a ton of good information on the internet: Anthony Pompliano, Invest Answers, Crypto Casey and a ton of others. Beware of hyping. Don't fall for anything that sounds like a sails pitch. Don't get all of your information from one source.

It's up nearly 500% in the last few months. You must have purchased it in the last few weeks. BTC can go down and sideways just like it goes up.

What exactly is Bitcoin? I be heard of it, but never heard it broken down. Just tonight I was sitting at a gas station and on the entrance door a sign read “Bitcoin sold here.” I was even more confused.

If Bitcoin were a stock I would say sell when your Uber driver or Starbucks barista begins telling you that you should invest but BTC is a different animal. Tread cautiously if you are not going to HODL as we are begining to see significant FOMO now. ETH and altcoins might be worth buying in small amounts.
