Hi,

Does anyone know what the lowest amount that I need to start am investment account and input each month? Also, how do I find stock to invest in that may help me earn residual income within a year?

I would love to invest but probably about have about $10 a month I can input and $50 down. I know it's not much but I would love to have residual income to earn.

If the above is not enough, does anyone have an idea of how to get residual income if someone like me does not have enough to invest in property?

Thank you!

I invested 50 in stock over a month ago and I really don't see the benefit or reason for doing it. It only goes up or down a few cents a day ,so what's the point

You can certainly start with small increments. Fidelity isn’t the most flashy website but they allow for fractional shares. You could buy $50 worth of an ETF or stock and log in weekly to purchase shares with the $10 a week. Not automating this process will also help you learn how to invest. It certainly doesn’t seem like much but if you stay consistent it will most definitely compound. I’ve found that you don’t really start “seeing” the benefit until you reach $1000.00 invested in a stock, then those 1% swings in price are $10 gain/loss.

A little bit goes a long way. Each of my daughter's gets $20 a month to invest. They've doubled their money over the last two years. The $500 put in over time is now worth more than $1,000.

I find that some weeks I can end with more to save and some less. At least $20 or more.

$10 is enough to invest in a lot of investments these days due to bit stocks. You can buy a slice of a share if you don't have enough to buy a whole share. Entities that allow this are SoFi, Charles Schwab, Chase, and other banks/investment companies.
