Does anyone else have an ally account? I've been using a hack to get interest paid twice a month. It only works if you have enough self control not to spend your money for a few days though. Ally's statement closes on the 23rd of each month so you can transfer out of Ally on the 24th of each month into another account that has an end of the month or close to statement closing. This way you get the interest from Ally and from the other account. Just make sure to move the money back into Ally at the beginning of the next month.

But if each bank calculate the interest at a daily rate at the end of each day, I wonder how much the difference would be.

This doesn't sound specific to Ally nor to statement closing dates? I'm guessing if you do it too often, one of the banks will shut down your account.
