Finding something you can do on the side, with just a little of your spare time, can slowly grow your savings. I do this with Android apps that earn money for me passively or semi-passively. It's not hundreds of dollars, but it adds up and can become that. I have made about $200 in a couple of months just using these apps. I won't post them here, because I feel that would be against policy, but Google for yourself, passive income apps. It's worth it to earn and just throw those earnings into savings!

I started selling scentsy when work slowed down. Businesses like that are good side hustles. I put the money from scentsy into my savings account while my full time job goes towards all my bills and such.

I've got a bunch of little side hustles–mostly receipt or rebate apps, Swagbucks, MyPoints, Inbox Dollars, etc. It's tedious and kind of time-consuming, but I'm not working right now. This month I've managed to make/save $300. I put all my side hustle money in my Paypal account and have over $2000 now, and that doesn't include all the Amazon GCs I've gotten. So, nope, I'm not knockin' the side hustle!
