Automate your savings through direct deposit or reoccurring transfers to a separate savings account. You can start small but by being consistent your savings will grow.

Buy US Savings bonds as a last result. You won't be spending any time soon!

They use to let you do it automatically with payroll deductions. Not sure if they still do that.

Granted the interest rates suck but your concern is the temptation to spend and it will curb that.

I agree with Thomas. Sometimes cash is hard to save. Maybe if you save a few bills and get larger bills that you know you won't to break up.?

I am a moderator for a Facebook group called The App Review. If you have a smartphone, you can earn passive income just buy having some apps installed on your phone. You can also earn money by answering surveys, playing games (not scam games), sharing your browsing data, etc. In our group, people share their proof of payment from these apps and website in order to vet them to show that they are not empty promises.
