I have been spending more trying to find stuff to do in my spare time 😩

A lot of my "excess" spending was on fun social things, like restaurant meals and drinks. Because of COVID, my spending has completely shifted to paying off debt, and my saving has more than doubled. Trying to find the silver lining in this situation.

I dont spend anything ,I have no extra money covid has put a huge strain on me

spending associated with activities with others (vacations, dining in restaurants, etc) has gone down but expenditures on groceries, food deliveries and utilities have gone up.

My spending has decreased in some areas and increased in others. I reduced my grocery shopping by meal planning, my electric has decreased because I invested in surge protectors to handle all electronic equipment and my auto maintenance and gas has reduced because I don't have to drive to work everyday. As a result I have been able to boost my savings about 10% each month.

Spending hasn't changed much, we certainly spend less on gas and eating out by staying home more, but not a significant change. We cooked most meals pre-covid, it's when out of town that the eating out occurred more and since there is less open we traveled a lot less.

My spending was more last month. I had to travel to UPMC IN Pittsburgh for a Spinal fusion. I had to be there at 5 am so we had to leave the say before and stay in a hotel.

Almost all of last year ,I hardly spent any except an occasional small treat for my family. The longer this goes on though I'm finding it hard not to. Boredom is really setting in.

I'm spending more because there's more shopping done.

Hello! I have learned some very valuable lessons during the pandemic. One of them is the importance of saving. Consequently, I am saving more. 🎯

Saving more as no longer doing a lot of convenience shopping - dinners and lunches out few times a week is down to 2-3 times a month with several months 1 or none…

Spending differently as I have been learning how to preserve food at home, growing some of my own food and changing the way we eat….. husband still loves his snack cakes and treats but seems to prefer me making them versus buying them

I am differently saving more. I'm now thinking twice about my purchases. Most of the time it's not a need. SaversLife has taught me a lot. Want to be totally out of debt by September this year.🤞

Definitely saving more. Expenses have drastically reduced in the last year. Rarely eating out. Cooking at home and learning new recipes. Saving on gas (there has been no place to go). Since this was a forced change, it has given me time to evaluate my financial situation and make changes.
