What is stash?
I just started a second savings account with Ally. I need to set up the auto-withdrawal
I use Ally which allows for "buckets" in one account or you can make multiple accounts, one for each goal.

Stash is a banking/invest app that is owned by Green Dot. I am not a fan of monthly fees so I do not have a Stash account.
I think having multiple bank accounts is safe in case you do not have access to a specific bank account. It is a good backup.
