Hello Everyone,
I’m new to this.. I don’t know if this is appropriate but I’m going to write about it anyway. Lol
So I’m a wife and mom to an 11 year old, and an 8 year old. Both boys. Yes I’m the only female in our home.
I know that some people say this pandemic has been hard. Yes I agree, we’ve endured deaths in our families, lay offs from work, and the kids being out of school.
Despite all of these things, I am still grateful to be able to Spend more time at home with my loved ones.
My husband just recently quit his job in February after we celebrated our 8th marriage anniversary. His plan was to start his own business.
I supported him a thousand percent because my income was twice the amount as his and I just knew we’d be fine.
Well a month later I was laid off due to corona. Mind you, he couldn’t get much done to start up the business within a months time. So now we’re both home and so are the kids. Here I am going from working 60+ hours in one week, to not working at all.
Can you imagine the irritation of not having anything to do. Lol
I slept a lot for the first week, catch up on all of my sleep, enjoying the kids and spending soo much time with them was a blessing.
My husband enjoyed having me home. Just knowing that he could take a break from the everyday hustle of managing the home.
Well the second week cake and I found myself checking my emails, checking my phone. I even started calling all of my employees to make sure they were all ok, because I wasn’t used to the peacefulness of not being bothered. lol Third week came and I said “Ok we’re all getting out of the house and getting fit.” Lol so we started exercising as a family daily. I’m talking “Weighing in, Dieting, etc” well I’m going to finish this story in another post. Lol to be continued…
