Wow! This year has been a rollercoaster ride for everyone. I always struggled in life ingeneral but this year forget it. I had 2 emergency surgeries ( I almost died) . My job of 13 years I don’t have anymore living off of only $275 a month .
Worst part is back end of January 2020, my 15 year olds was getting sick . Usually around this year he gets sick anyways. So I did my normal nurturing.
A week goes by his cough is worse his chest hurts he couldn’t get out of bed for the life of him . Brought him to the drs twice and cave him cough syrup and nebulizer. Next day started to feel better . Now going into feb 15th he couldn’t get out of bed his breathing was shallow. He was so weak . Took him back to the dr. Tested him for mono. Etc. I kept telling the drs I think he has covid . No one listened . Went home had to call 911 his lips were purple and he was shaking like crazy and he couldn’t talk! Emts came and stayed for over an hour they helped treat him to get his oxgyen up . The emt said he definitely has covid ! I told them I been trying to tell the doctors but they won’t listen ! The emts stated the hospital isn’t a good idea cause it’s over crowded . They gave me some tips and told me to keep doing what I was doing. Next day took him to the drs and demanded a test. I also demanded antibiotics and steroids to help open his airways to breathe. I had to argue with the dr. I got my way . My son started to feel better thank god! But the dr only gave me 3 days worth. So after the third day he was declining again . Had to rush him to the er . He stopped breathing . I was a dam wreck ! If I called 911 they would have taken forever. I am pounding on his chest while I am driving eating every red light (it was at 1am, no cars on the street); his oxygen was low . Was there for 16 hours and they sent me home saying he had bronchitis . Here we are now going into March he’s feeling better but now himself. Well now the dr tells me he had a full blown case of covid. Well gee doctor no kidding ! From Endnof Jan to middle of March it was insane . But it’s not over ! After they symptoms passed now he suffering damage from covid . He is now under the care of neurologist and doctors. I am suffering financially. I had to sell so much of my personal belongings. But my son I would give my soul for him. This child use to be a go getter , always happy and forever smiling. Always got good grades. Covid took my son away. He is so miserable, he is not hint. He tried to be . He knows something is wrong and he wants to be himself . I am praying this is temporary . I want my son back! ******** Please send prayers
