Credit cards for the rewards and pay balance in full each month

I use a credit card with a 2% rebate that goes into my retirement account. I don't see the amount, so I don't really think about it – and don't spend it. I save several thousand dollars each year this way – free. My card has no annual fees, no exchange fees, and my retirement account pays interest on the deposits.

Credit to earn points. And not having to mess with small change.

I think a good rule of thumb is to never buy anything, not including a car or house because that's just not reasonable, on credit that you can't afford to buy with cash in one month's savings.

It's always better to have both instead of one so I use both cash and credit so but I prefer credit cuz I'm use my money to save

My Dad and Mom used a checking account. I do the same thing. I also use my debit card.

I usually use cash, but I like all the credit reasons I think I might try credit.

I use my cash or points back credit cards responsibly to save on purchases I make everyday.

I like to use my credit card for 1% cash back on everything which gets tucked into savings. I keep a checkbook of sorts on my phone where I track my spending to ensure I stay within my budget and transfer the money from checkings usually within the next day or two so I'm not dishing out extra moolah, (otherwise that'd defeat the cash back bit); however, I also carry $60-80 just in case I make a purchase at a location which charges you extra for using credit, (often times it'll be a small business where they get charged by Visa or such company 5% just for running your card.)
Those rewards really do add up in savings. Also, seeing that number and understanding that it's only 1% of everything you're spending makes you think twice about buying anything. It's hard to argue or reason with something in black and white.

Prefer Cash because I've been working very hard on paying off my credit cards. I do still use credit cards but try not to often

I use credit cards for everything. I earn as many cashback rewards as possible and I have some leeway before the credit payment is actually due.

I actually love this credit card. Its free and if you use my link you get $100 for signing up - https://refer.discover.com/s/aagreenspan6
But every quarte they have a different reason to get 5% back one quarter is gas another target another restaurants. I literally cannot think of a better card. The line of credit is only $2000 but I'm happy with it.
