7 Employers That Offer Part-Time Employees Health Insurance

Starbucks.
Caribou Coffee.
Whole Foods.
United Parcel Service (UPS)
Costco.
Lowe's.
Staples.

I have heard that some health insurance plans for part timers are decent or at least reasonable in cost and coverage. I haven't had a chance to check these companies but something to consider or at least compare with the ACA Marketplace?

That list may not be up to date. I though Lowes and Whole Foods had cut theirs. Maybe they just reduced them (Whole Foods after being bought by Amazon).

Yes, it seems Amazon ended just about everything nice about working at Whole Foods and Lowes ended part time benefits about 6 months ago. Still Starbucks has a decent tough not great set of benefits andd they are distributed pretty far and wide across the country.

Vertex Global Solutions is a great organization to help you find work during this time in our country. They help you find work with the opportunity for full time employment

Life insurance is another consideration if you have others that depend on you to support them. Whether or not you have dependents or others you support health insurance is important for almost everyone.

Thanks, this is useful info! I’m planning to start freelancing in 2020 but wonder if 20 hours a week at Starbucks would be work it for benefits. Anyone on this forum currently a Starbucks barista?

Definitely take advantage of the opportunities employment offers provide, for the small nominal cost

UPS doesn't deduct anything from your paycheck for health insurance.

Part time work is a great opportunity for many people. May God bless the companies that offer health insurance for part time employees.
